About Me

I am a very passionate and hardworking 30 year old mother to one cheeky little girl named Ava, and a devoted and loving partner to my man Gus.

My love for all things fitness-related began from a young age. Growing up I was always interested in playing and watching team sports and that continued to grow and evolve throughout my life.  

After completing a 12 Week Transformation Program in 2014, I was introduced to resistance training and completely fell in love with the feeling of lifting and the benefits that came with it. Once ‘thin and flat’ to ‘curvy and defined,’ exercising and resistance training has completely transformed my physique. From that moment my focus shifted from team sports to personal development and learning whatever I could about anything and everything health and fitness-related.

Over the years, I stayed active and continued to keep up with the latest methods in weight loss and training. It was then that I was introduced to an app called MyFitnessPal and the concept of “Flexible Dieting”. The concept at the time sounded too good to be true; eat what you want so long as you don’t go over your targets and you’ll still lose weight! Amazing, right?! MyFitnessPal quickly became my best friend and a vital tool throughout my pregnancy in ensuring I didn’t fall into too many bad habits. As a result, I have learnt about the nutritional values of foods and can confidently make healthier choices for myself, and now my family too.

In January 2017, I joined F45 Training Woodville at 5 months post-partum and wanted to regain my confidence and pre-pregnancy body. Setting my sights on the 8 Week Challenge, I knew I had the knowledge to create my own meal plan for the 8 weeks and the determination to make it to the end. I only narrowly missed out on first place, coming a close second. My latest achievements include competing in my first bodybuilding competition in April 2018, walking away with 3 first places, 5 second places and a third place.  

This further cemented in my mind that my passion for health and fitness was real and an immediate change of career was needed. Having worked in hospitality and retail for most of my life, the idea of working long hours with a baby just wasn’t ideal in the long term, nor was it enjoyable. And so, I set upon studying for my Cert IV in Fitness with the Australian Institute of Fitness and shortly after, began working at F45 Woodville. 

It has been so incredibly rewarding to have been a part of countless members’ successful fitness journeys and to have formed great friendships in the process. I am excited to be branching out on my own now in the aim of helping more individuals with their health and fitness goals!
